Whats with car dealers and their ads(the magazine with local dealers and their cars for sale)?
Why , when looking at an ad for a used car do they say that it has p/steering?. When is the last time a car was made without it. I can understand if it was an old car but I see it on ads for newer cars a lot. Is it just to make a lame car seen nicer by listing something that a car should have anyways? Does that not come standard on cars or what?

- the same with a/c
- actually not all cars have power steering as standard equipment. very small/ cheap econo-boxes dont have it.
- two reasons, 1. the car they are selling doesnt have any other good options so they resort to power steering or stuff that all modern cars have. 2. They use a VIN decode software to come up with a list of options, the VIN decode comes up with a list of standard equipment, but isnt smart enough to realize things like power steering or power locks on a BMW is no big deal. it just spits out what comes up first.
