Old Cars For Sale

Does anyone know where I can find a vintage VW Bus for sale?

I have been looking online for a vintage bus for sale, but most sites are a little confusing... I'm looking for a Model between 1955 and 1975 I am a very vintage type of person, and really just want to find my dream car... Can someone please help me??

7. I would first try your local Craigslist.org to see what is available nearby. I would also suggest eBay and do a search for VW BUS or KOMBI I would also bring a LOT of money. A good fully restored KOMBI with all the windows is going to bring about $15 to $20k. Even rusted out bus shells start at about $500 or so .. they are vintage but they are also pretty hard to put back together. good luck... .
8. There is still a strong second-hand market for these vehicles. If you really want one in reasonable condition, the best place to look is the classifieds on SAMBA http://www.thesamba.com/vw/ Be prepared to pay for it, as they seem to becoming more and more attractive as they get scarcer. You know the old saying, "the market dictates the price", well that is very true in this case. I would also look at Craigslist and local papers. If you are mechanically inclined, then the answer is to look for one that needs to be done up, but be careful, as doing them up can turn out to be more expensive that a reasonable looking and running bus on Samba.
