What is the best website to advertise a classic car for sale on? My husband wants me to place a for sale ad online for his 1965 Chrysler 300 non-letter series sport coupe convertible. I have been doing some searches and I have been thinking about Auto Trader Classics or Hemmings. I was just wondering if anyone out there knows which I should go with, if either. Thanks.
Looking for a classic car! Where would I find a classic car for sale? (Please read the full question, Thank you.) Hi, Ia few weeks ago I went to a classic car and tractor event and I really liked the cars there. It was the first time I have ever seen many of these type of cars before. I liked them so much that I want to buy one. Im half way through getting my driving licence and I thought I would look for a small cheap classic car for when I get it. I thought that I might have more luck finding one in the summer, than I would in the winter. I am looking for a car built up to around the 1930's. I was thinking on something like an Austin Saloon, an Austin Seven, a Hilman Minx or anything like that. If anyone has any ideas of where I might be able to find one for sale, or if anyone has one that they might sell please let me know. You can leave an answer for this question or if you prefer you can email me at lawrence_breslin@yahoo.com. Many Thanks Please only answer about the UK and Ireland. Thank you.

What it's a good cheap, classic car? Preferably convertable and I need to have a V8 engine? examples: Plymouth Road Runner, Oldsmobile Cutlass, etc. My budget goes as high as $6000. I have automotive body and engine experience so if you think if I can find a banged up one that needs work that'll do. I'm kinda looking for a good ole' muscle car and tying to steer clear from Mustangs. I'm mostly looking car brands and makes only, not links to cars on sale. THANKS
Where can I find a 1957 chevy wagon? Any ideas on websites that feature classic cars for sale? Provide me a working website for classic cars, I may provide you with a best answer. Thanks!

What or where is the best locations to sell a classic car? Hello everyone, I would like some advice on where to sell a classic car. Which cities would pay the most for a classic vehicle? Im a kid in school, and I need to help someone I really care about sell their car to take care of some financial issues, and instead of trying to advertise it in as many cities as possible, pin point where it would be the most effective to try and sell a vintage car. Which cities and sites in the U.S or anywhere for that matter would be the best place to advertise a car for sale. P.S i know about craigslist - but don't know which cities would be the best place to reach on there. I am going to do as many as i can but i would like to cut down on wasted time. ebay is more of a last resort because of the huge fees, and not getting what the car is worth. auto trader, cars.com. classic cars.com, and oodles.com - any sites that get a lot of reputable views that will merit advertising on there especially if it cost to list. I could use some advice on where online and offline in the real world and the type of individual to try and sell it to. I want to do everything i can to make sure this person does not get ripped off and i want to help as much as i can. every serious answer is greatly needed, and if you don't know ask someone else who may. For everyone that reads this and gives the best advice they can, from the bottom of my heart, thank you.
1969 camaro/1973 nova project car for sale? My husband and I have been talking about a future with children and I know he has always talked about wanting a project car for our children to have when they are older. When the time does come to have children- I want to tell him in a very awesome way. He has mentioned to me that he wants to restore a 1973 Chevy Nova several times, but I know he has always had an interest in the 69 camaro- just finding one with a motor and transmission would be so hard. If anyone has or knows where I can come across one of these vehicles please let me know! I have searched google, classic cars, cars online, etc...im just finding them really really rusted or already restored.
Is 50+ Mileage good for a car? I'm looking at a classic car for sale in a lot and it's 50 miles to the gallon. I'm not very good with cars but I defintely love classic cars. Is that good for a car or not? Btw the Car Im looking at is a 1980 Fiat spider Convertible.
Question on title transfer of a classic car in WA state? So DOL website say you have to pay taxes on fair market value. I am looking at a car that is for sale for $1500, but low blue book is $10,000. I know they won't let me pay taxes on the $1500. There has to be an easy way around this. What is it?
How much should I offer for a classic car? I saw a add in autotrader in December for a 1967 Chevy Impala 4 door, 283 V8, auto, ps, pb, pewter w/black interior, excellent condition. 85,960 miles and he was asking $9700 obo. He closed the add in February and went on another site now asking $8200 and also saying "Will considering offers". This car is in almost perfect condition (only having a few rust spots around the funder but nothing huge). Some scratches on the paint as well but nothing big. I have seen this car for sale in other adds that were in better condition (showroom) with less mileage asking $6000. I wont give him what he is asking for it because odviously its to high of a price. But what should I offer him and how should I do it? I have never dealed with a regular person to buy a car before so any advise will help. Thanks. How much should I offer him? http://www.antiquecar.com/index/listings/page11752.htm I am comparing this car to the one I am buying. The car I posted has no rust, with a vinyl roof. The car I was has double the mileage with a hardtop but has very minor rust. advise
Classic cars that are easy to drive? I really love the look of classic cars, particularly 60’s-70’s vehicles. However I want to own one as a daily driver and feel comfortable behind the steering wheel. I recently drove a 74 Ford Maverick that was for sale, which was a beautiful little car, but I had to pass because while on the road the auto steering felt overly responsive? I’m not sure what to call it but it felt as though I had little control of the car when traveling around 30mph on a slightly curvy road. Very loose and wobbly. I’m not sure if there was something specifically wrong with this car or if the old auto steering is usually like that. If anyone has any idea what I could drive as far as vintage cars go I’d love to hear your suggestions! (Looking for an automatic with power breaking) I don’t know how to drive stick:p
Searching on Craigslist? I'm looking at different classic cars for sale on craigslist.org and I live in Massachusetts. I was wondering if there was a way to search the entire state instead of doing it by sub categories like Boston, Worcester /central MA, etc.
Is this muscle car site real? Somebody please help me? http://www.collectorcarsforsale.com/ That is the site with the muscle cars for sale. I REALLY need to know if it is legit or not. I need some help because I love muscle cars to death. And this seems like a perfect buy. But it also seems WAY too good to be true. http://www.collectorcarsforsale.com/classic-cars-for-sale/l2430.html That is one of the 68 mustangs for sale. I know this car is REALLY expensive, but the parts on it seems brand new, not the actual original. I know putting the new parts on a muscle will lower the value but this seems way too unreal. I really really need help with this. Could the car also be just one big remake? Because I know you can remake an entire body. I really need answers if this is legit or not. And why is it so cheap.

Classic Car "FINDERS FEE"-How do you become a finder? They have ads in Hemmings Motor News offering commissions for finders of pre and post war vintage cars (Rolls Royce, Bentley). How does one go about becoming a FINDER for classic cars? What procedures does the buyer (who i would be the agent for) use to verify the vehicle i find if it is accross the country for sale (or even outside the USA)? Anybody with experience? Is a used car dealers license required to work as a classic car finder? Thanks
Who has the right to buy the car in this contracts law question? On Monday Wajid put a 1976 Triumph Stag car on the forecourt of his classic car garage for sale. On the windscreen of the car he placed ‘’special offer - until Friday this classic will be available at £7,500’’. Early Tuesday morning, the last zero on the price of the car fell off the windscreen. Lee saw the car later that day and decided that he would like to take advantage of such an offer, which he knew too good to be true, and on Thursday clutching £750 cash said to Wajid that they have a deal. Meanwhile, on Wednesday, Doug was driving past Wajid’s garage and saw the car for sale correctly priced. Doug was in a hurry to get to work, but later on that day sent a letter first class post to Wajid saying that he would see Wajid next week and would be pleased to pay him £7,000. Wajid received the letter on Saturday after a postal delay. On Thursday Wajids brother Sheraz was very surprised to see the car for sale at all as the week before Wajid had promised him the car if he spends 2 gruelling days washing and valeting all 15 cars on the forecourt. Lee, Doug and Sheraz all insist they have a contract for the purchase of the Triumph Stag. Who actually does and why? Why do the others not have a contract?
classic car rental or sales? I'm looking to rent, or possibly purchase, a 50s era Packard. I'd prefer a convertable. The car would be a promotional vehicle for the non-profit www.thepackardinstitute.com
Suppose you own classic cars, and you drive them around for years and people are always stopping and asking? if you'll sell? And you don't want to sell. Then, when you absolutely MUST sell one, you can drive it around with a For Sale sign, you can list it in the paper and on Craig's List, you can contact the same people who have always wanted to buy it, and show it dozens of times, and no one wants to buy it, no matter how much you are willing to sacrifice by lowering the price for them. What's this? Is it Murphy's Law? I don't think I like Mr. Murphy. One's a '63 Fury Max Wedge (only 65 made), one's a '69 Buick GS convertible, '55 Chevy wagon, black w/ holographic ghost flames gorgeous (that one was supposed to sell, but the guy wasn't serious and we decided not to sell that one. At this point we'd sell it too. There's more, but those are a few. yeah, 1968 Buick GS convertible.
