Searching for older cars for sale....sites? A friend is looking for a 1982-86 Pontiac Bonneville for sale. I've checked Autotrader, CarsDirect, Cars.com and beepbeep.com and have found very little. I'm wondering if there are other good, common sites I could check? And if there are any for older cars in particular, or heck, even Pontiac specific ones. For that matter, I wonder if there are good places for want ads - sites where you're going to hit the largest number? We're in Milwaukee but he may be willing to go farther afield to find one.

Whats with car dealers and their ads(the magazine with local dealers and their cars for sale)? Why , when looking at an ad for a used car do they say that it has p/steering?. When is the last time a car was made without it. I can understand if it was an old car but I see it on ads for newer cars a lot. Is it just to make a lame car seen nicer by listing something that a car should have anyways? Does that not come standard on cars or what?
Is it possible to trade in 2 old cars for credit at a Toyota dealership for a future sale later in the year? I have 2 old cars in the driveway that we don't really use. A 1990 Acura Integra and a 1992 Toyota Corolla. Both are on their way out and yet still in somewhat good physical condition for their ages. Would a Toyota dealership take them off our hands and give us credit for the sale of a future car? Do dealerships do things like this? We're looking to get a Toyota minivan but not this instant. But the cars are just sitting there barely being used. We're tired of getting them fixed every 6 months or so.

Can you help me with paper work on selling my old car? I have my old car up for sale. It has a problem when I apply the brakes, it acts like it wants to stall. After it warms up, it is okay. Whenever you read a car sale ad, people will always emphasize when their car has "never been driven in the rain" or "driven in the rain only twice", why is it that they make such a big deal out of it? 2yr old car registration and sales tax payment...? I purchased my car about a year and a half ago in MO and still have not registered it. I have all the paperwork and inspections and insurance and such, i bought it from a car lot. I received a statement from the dmv a while ago saying that i owed $1300 for everything. I understand that i am probably in a good amount of trouble for this. I have tried to save up the money but things happen. So question is- what do i do now? how do i go about getting my car legal? any advice? any experience with this? can i just pay the full amount and be good? thanks for reminding me there olkatom- i did receive a ticket for driving an unregistered vehicle which is as yet unresolved as well.... i do imagine this will effect the process....
Can I get an auto bill of sale and put false info in it about my old car without getting caught? My old car broke down and I just bought a new one from a private seller. Since my old car is broke down, can I make up a bill of sale stating that I sold it for $7000 then I can use that $7000 as tax credit when I pay sales tax on my new car. It will save me about $400 in sales tax. It does matter and it does not have to ba a trade. It can be a sold vehicle as long as it is within 45 days. Also my math is fine $7000 x.06% =$420 saved. And I doubt they check email on this stuff crazies.
